Welcome to my blog!

Dear Fans & Friends,

Welcome!

I'm trying to tackle this whole blog thing with the same passion I once tackled David "Deacon" Jones...so bear with me. It's tough typing on my key board with my hands all taped up, my elbow pads on, and the face guard on my helmet keeps getting in the way...but I'll try my best.

I would love to hear from you so please feel free to leave a message.

God bless,
Rayfield

Hello, Mr. Wright. I grew up watching you and my other Cowboy heroes. Thank you for all those great years. I have been listening to you on KRLD tonight and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know a little about you.
You are a man of solid character and I appreciate your willingness to share your faith in such a sincere manner.
I just ordered two of your books, one each for our boys. Thanks for being willing to autograph them and say something to them of encouragement. I look forward to reading the book myself of course!
God bless you and your family.
Kevin and Terry. Bonham, Tx.

Mr. Wright, thanks for all the great Cowboy memories I have from those 'days of old'. I am looking forward to meeting this evening a the KRLD event and will bring along my official Rafield Wright photograph to hopefully get an autograph from a true Hall of Famer.

I just wanted to say hi. I met you at the NFL Alumni golf outting at Allegheny Country Club. I was the waitress with all the shrimp. It was good to see that someone nice came out of Dallas, this is from a Steeler Fan.
I`m so glad to see that there are men, like you, that children can look up to as good roll models. I have two grandsons that need "heros" as we use to call them ,like you.
I`m just learning about your foundation, I will keep you and your work in my prayers.
Thank you and God bless yo

Linda

Hi! I am the crazy lady that drove you around at the NFL Tournament in Austin. I am writing to tell you how much I enjoyed your book! When school starts, I plan to read it to my students. I know they will be motivated to do their best and work hard. I want you to write another book- "Wright On..." It would be your life after the NFL. I was so motivated and fascinated with your mission work. You are a wonderful role model and a gentle giant in so many ways. When we parted you told me to keep on doing what I was doing, and I must say the same to you.
May God continue to bless you and keep you as you continue to do His work. You are extraordinary!

Mr. Wright, I had the honor of meeting you last night while I was playing Texas Hold 'Em in a little bar on the west side of Fort Worth, Shuckers. I can't tell you the thrill it was putting your '75 Super Bowl ring over my 2 thumbs! I have very large hands for a woman & your ring still swallowed my thumbs. As I said to you last night, thanks for all the great years of football. Being born & raised in FW, during a time when honor, committment, integrity and honesty really meant something, it is wonderful to see that you have used your God-given talen for good & continue to try to make a positive difference in people's lives. Thank you & I praise God for all his blessings, including you. Keep the faith!

Hey there! Don't know if you'll see this. Your blog is pretty old and pretty skimpy! Oh well . . . I can't talk. I haven't written on mine for quite a while, either. Need to get back at it, but have been a little busy.

Wanted to congratulate you on the Hall of Fame thing. That's awesome! Michael told me about it. Seems being back in Texas has put you back in your element. I'm happy for you.

Drop a line sometime. I'd love to hear from you. Might let you sell me some of your vitamins. :)

Hello there! Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to meet you while you were recently in Midland. You were so kind and genuine and I felt so honored to have been introduced to you. You have been my favorite of The Cowboys for a long, long time. Your warmth and kindness were so overwhelming and I cherish the conversations we had. Plus, being given the honor to wear your rings and jacket - that is something I'll always remember. Hope to see you again in Midland soon. Marvae Blanscett
